Exchange Place ... Changing the face of downtown

Exchange Place, located at the northeast corner of Market and Douglas, is one of Real Development's signature projects - one that incorporates both urban living and life services. "Our entire business model is wrapped around the concept that a strong residential community downtown will bring service-oriented retail activity and that the two will fuse together," said Michael Elzufon, CEO of Real Development. "The project will actually transform an entire block downtown, and with that transformation will come additional activity in the heart of Wichita."

Construction on the 135-unit rental project is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2008; amenities will include a rooftop relaxation area, party room with TV/movie area and a skyway connecting Exchange Place to the Wichita Executive Centre fitness center.

First floor services may include a grocery store, dry cleaner and coffee shop; plans continue to evolve and you'll want to stay tuned for new information as the exciting project takes shape!
